Cancellation and Refunds

Refund Policy

Effective date: 21 September 2026

We would request you to read this policy carefully before confirming a booking.

1. Our position on cancellation

Our packages are built on arrangements that we commit to and pay for well in advance — hotel allocations, transport, activity bookings and air tickets. These commitments are made on your behalf as soon as a booking is confirmed, and they are not recoverable once made.

For this reason, all bookings are non-cancellable and non-refundable once confirmed, and no refund is payable, whether the request arises before departure or after the tour has commenced. This applies regardless of the reason, including:

·     A change of personal plans or circumstances

·     A change of mind

·     Inability or unwillingness to travel

·     Late arrival, missed departure or missed transport

·     A personal or family emergency, or illness

·     A visa refusal, immigration decision or travel document issue

·     Choosing not to participate in part of the tour

·     Departing from the tour early

·     Any services included in the Package that are not used

Partial use of a Package does not give rise to a partial refund or credit for unused services.

We appreciate that circumstances can change unexpectedly, and we say this not to be unhelpful but so that the position is entirely clear to you before you commit. We would strongly encourage travellers to ensure they hold appropriate travel insurance, which may provide cover in circumstances where we are unfortunately unable to.

2. Exceptions at our discretion

While the above is our stated policy, we do look at genuinely exceptional situations sympathetically. Any exception is entirely at our discretion and would need to be confirmed by us in writing. Nothing in this policy affects any right you may have that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Where WanderGO Holidays cancels a departure

3.1. On rare occasions, circumstances beyond our reasonable control may make it impossible or unsafe to operate a departure as planned.

3.2. Where we cancel a departure for reasons other than your default, you may choose either:

·     a full refund of all amounts paid to us; or

·     transfer to an alternative departure date of equivalent value, subject to availability.

3.3. Refunds in such cases are processed within 7 to 10 working days from the date we confirm the cancellation to you in writing.

3.4. Refunds are credited to the original payment method and the original payment instrument. Once processed by us, the credit may take a further 5 to 7 working days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.

3.5. Where we cancel, our responsibility is limited to the refund or transfer set out above. We are regrettably unable to reimburse costs of arrangements you have made independently, such as air tickets or visa fees booked outside of us.

3.6. Where a departure is affected by force majeure, we will make every reasonable effort to recover amounts from our suppliers and will pass on to you whatever is recovered, after deduction of amounts irrecoverably incurred.

4. Requests to amend a confirmed booking

We understand that plans occasionally need adjusting, and we will always try to help where we can.

4.1. Requests to amend a confirmed booking — such as a change of traveller name, departure date, or room configuration — are welcome in writing to contact@wandergo.in, and we will do our best to accommodate them, subject to availability and to what our suppliers are able to permit.

4.2. Where an amendment can be arranged, any supplier charge, penalty, or difference in cost arising from the change would be payable in addition to the original Package price. We will always set this out clearly for your approval before proceeding.

4.3. Requests made closer to the Departure Date are naturally harder to accommodate, as supplier commitments will by then have been made.

4.4. Where we have arranged your air tickets, please note that airline tickets once issued are governed by the fare rules of the airline concerned, and are frequently non-transferable and non-amendable. Where a change is possible at all, any charge, penalty or fare difference levied by the airline is payable at actuals. We are glad to approach the airline on your behalf, though the outcome rests with them.

4.5. A request for an amendment does not in itself constitute a cancellation, nor does it give rise to a refund.

5. Taxes on cancelled bookings

Where GST has been paid to the government on a booking, it is refundable only to the extent permitted under applicable GST law. Where TCS has been collected against a PAN furnished at the time of booking, it is reflected in your Form 26AS and may be claimed when filing your income tax return.

6. How to contact us

All cancellation and amendment requests should be sent in writing to contact@wandergo.in from the email address used at the time of booking. We acknowledge all such communications within 48 hours.
